Michael Rosenblum Headshot 5.jpg

Michael was born and raised in Roslyn, NY. A dedicated NY sports fan, he grew up playing baseball, and for the longest time, thought he would go to college to do just that. As his senior year of high school neared however, he realized that there weren't many 5'8" Jewish ballplayers in the Major Leagues, so he focused on the far more stable profession of acting. He proudly decided to attend Northwestern University and graduated with a degree in Theatre and a certificate in Musical Theatre.

After performing on the stage in Chicago and New York, Michael moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to fully pursue voice over.

Growing up, Michael had always wanted to work in animation, as evidenced by his love of cartoons such as The Simpsons, Animaniacs, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Family Guy, and others. His penchant for doing voices garnered him lots of attention and laughs with friends and at parties. These voices started to creep their way into his characters on stage. He received a fortunate opportunity to audition for an animated pilot for FOX that saw him make it all the way to the final round of callbacks. Though he was not cast in the pilot, his work drew high praise from the show's casting directors and producers, and they encouraged him to take the leap to come out to LA and go after a career in VO. They even went so far as to offer him an opportunity with the show if it went beyond the pilot stage. Sadly, it did not, but it was the jumping off point for Michael's career.

Since then, he has steadily worked in VO, growing his resume in commercial, video games, promo, and his true passion, animation. Visit Michael's media page to listen to some of his work.
